What is Rechain?

Rechain is a daily word chain puzzle game where you connect a START word to an END word by filling in the hidden compound-word links between them. A new puzzle every day at midnight.

Is Rechain free?

Yes! Rechain is completely free to play.

How do I play?

Look at the START and END words
Tap an empty slot
Type a word that forms compound words with its neighbors
Green = correct, Yellow = right word wrong slot, Gray = not in chain

What counts as a compound word?

Two words that combine to form a new word or phrase: sunflower, basketball, ice cream. Both closed and open compounds are valid.

How do streaks work?

Complete puzzles on consecutive days to build your streak. Miss a day and it resets to zero.

Can I play past puzzles?

Yes! Visit the Puzzle Archive to browse and play past puzzles.

Do I need an account?

No. Sign in with Google optionally to sync progress across devices.

When does the daily puzzle reset?

A new puzzle is released every day at midnight in your local timezone.
